Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by a representative and transferred to your Nairobi-area hotel.

Enjoy a relaxing evening or explore the city. If you arrive early, you could visit a local art gallery or try some famous Kenyan barbecue.

After breakfast and a short briefing with your driver-guide, depart on your safari to the Masai Mara.

The drive takes approximately 5 hours over beautiful landscapes, and you should arrive at your accommodation in time for a hot lunch, or pack a picnic lunch to head straight for a game drive.

Alternatively, if you choose to fly, it is a mere 45 minutes flight from Wilson Domestic Airport. Additional fees apply.

The Masai Mara is famous for predators such as lions and leopards and herds of ungulates, including zebras and wildebeests. Spend the afternoon viewing wildlife before returning to your accommodations for a lovely sunset or an evening swim.

After an early breakfast, head to the Mara River to view the Migration.

Let the sheer number of animals take your breath away and be in awe of the power of nature as you photograph the wonder that is the annual river crossing.

Enjoy a picnic lunch and wildlife viewing until sunset.

Spend the day trailing the wildebeest migration and searching for elephants, buffalo, and predators like lions from morning to afternoon. You may consider retiring early to enjoy the swimming pool or other amenities at your lodge, or continue wildlife viewing until evening.

Option to book an early morning hot air balloon ride to sail over the area and get an aerial safari to remember! Must book in advance, so contact us for details.

After breakfast, return to Nairobi. Option to fly back (landing at Wilson Airport) or to drive (approximately 5 hrs), with a transfer either to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, or your next accommodation.

This concludes the Kenya Migration Safari tour, but you may consider adding a beach extension, to Zanzibar or Diani Beach for a more robust East Africa experience.
